Y Prentis appoints a New Director

               

Y Prentis has expanded its Board by appointing Bron Afon Community Housing as a corporate member. Bron Afon have appointed their Head of Community and Customer Services, Mark Doubler, to be their representative on the Y Prentis board. Mark's appointment comes following a recent review of governance to help grow the core business and increase the diversity and numbers on the Board.

Mark is a collaborative and empowering leader with experience in commercial banking, local authority, and social housing settings. In his role at Bron Afon he has responsibility for all front-line housing, customer service and support functions, together with the estate management and sustainability teams. Mark is passionate about sustainability issues and an advocate for maximising social impact.

Mark said, “I’m delighted to be joining the board of Y Prentis to support the next phase of the company’s development, helping the team to expand into new sectors to allow a wider group of potential apprentices to learn and grow whilst gaining valuable real-world experience.”

Since been established in October 2012 the Board has predominantly been represented by founding members Melin Homes and Monmouthshire County Council.
