Lyndon Griffiths joins the Y Prentis Board

Lyndon Griffiths, Land Director for Candleston Homes (subsidiary of Melin Homes) has been appointed as a Board member for Y Prentis.

Following Dave Cook’s retirement, Lyndon has joined the Board from Candleston Homes and brings a great deal of experience and energy having worked in the Construction/Housing sector for almost 25 years.

After graduating from his Building Surveying Degree, Lyndon started his career in Manchester with North British Housing Association starting in the field of maintenance and development. After 5 years up in the North West, the family moved back to South Wales.

Lyndon subsequently held senior positions in both the Housing Association sector, as well as with large private construction developers. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Y Prentis in relation to liaison with Welsh Government, Local Authorities and the construction industry for the delivery of both private and affordable housing, across many counties of operation.

Presently he is responsible for acquisition of new land opportunities; key client relationship management with both Private and Public Sector; networking with the wider professional development sector and co-ordination of land bids; joint ventures and development agreements with 3^rd parties. He has been the lead officer on strategic developments in Monmouthshire for new private development projects.
