Carpentry Apprentice
Lucas has been with us since September of 2022 and is from Caerphilly. He has been working with our host contractor MJ Cosgrove,
working on Maes y Ffynnon a new build Housing site for Housing Association Pobl. MJ Cosgrove are supporting us with Lucas to help progress his skills within the carpentry trade and working towards his Level 3 qualification. He is also currently studying with Coleg Y Cymoedd one day a week to help him to achieve his full qualification in construction ready for what the future brings.
Lucas has been on the site from its start right through to its near completion. As a result, he has experienced the full range of stages of the build such as first and second fix and been able to practice his skills in these areas of carpentry.
