Jack joined us in August 2019, as a Plastering apprentice and has now successfully completed his apprenticeship. We are pleased to confirm that Jack has been able to secure full-time employment with C&S Plastering Ltd.

What qualification did you achieve?
I achieved my Level 2 diploma in Plastering.
What contractors did you worked with during your apprenticeship?
I have worked with a range of different contractors during my apprenticeship. These include: Taff Housing, Richard Kemble Contracts, Atlantic Dwellings and C&S Plastering Ltd.
What would you say to somebody interested in applying for an apprenticeship?
I highly recommend anyone thinking of taking up an apprenticeship to contact Y Prentis. You will not regret it as they will always provide you with the support you need to ensure you have the best possible experience.
What’s the best bit about your apprenticeship?
My apprenticeship experience with Y Prentis has been brilliant as I have always received support and guidance. The best part of my apprenticeship has been that it has allowed me to build new relationships with other workers on-site and it has further allowed me to gain advanced knowledge and learning which has overall enhanced my confidence on site.
Why do you think Plasterers are important to the construction industry?
As my boss says, “Plasterers are the top of the food chain!”
Did you manage to secure employment once you completed your apprenticeship?
Yes, I did secure full-time employment with C&S Plastering – I got on so well with all the team that they made me an offer of employment before the end of my apprenticeship. I am super excited to start my career with C&S Plastering.
