Our carpentry apprentice Ryan Smart has spent five months of his apprenticeship working on the National Lottery funded Blaenavon Townscape Heritage Programme.

We’re a construction based shared apprenticeship scheme operating across South East Wales. Funded by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and Welsh Government, we employ apprentices across many construction trades to meet the needs of today’s construction industry.

Where are they now?

Jak joined Y Prentis in October 2014 as a bricklaying apprentice and achieved his diploma and NVQ Level 2


Thomas was a carpentry apprentice and during that time worked with Hale Construction, Knox & Wells


Kelly Bennett was a painting and decorating apprentice with both Y Prentis and Monmouthshire Housing
