ABOUT Y PRENTIS
Y Prentis is a flagship partnership between Melin Homes and Monmouthshire County Council and is funded by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and Welsh Government.
Y Prentis employs the apprentices on your behalf for as long as your business needs them. We interview and hire the best young people and then place them with companies in the construction and housing sectors on a flexible basis.
Y Prentis covers all the traditional costs including recruitment, management, payroll and mentoring, saving you valuable time, money and resources.
The apprentice gains a wide range of skills and experience as they move between different employers.
Hosting an Y Prentis apprentice also helps you meet your community benefit obligations.
